Rosy – Soprano
Rosy grew up in the South Manchester area and after a period
of living in East and Central Africa is now back in Manchester
working for a music management company as an orchestral fixer
and education coordinator. Self employed as a violinist, soprano
and events manager, she strives to travel the world as much as
possible before settling down and having lots of babies. Rosy
is also the newly elected MCC tea-lady and official supplier
of chocolate rolls and biscuits.

Roger – Bass
Born and brought up in Swansea, Roger has lived most of his
adult life in Cheshire and spent much time and energy in choirs
in and around Manchester. With wife Sue, he brought up four
musical children in a semi-detached house adjoining super-tolerant
neighbours. He has worked in a variety of business roles in an
international pharmaceutical company, but is now able to devote
even more time to singing in ensembles of varying sizes, as well
as exploring instrumental music and opera. Other recreations
include literature, science, mountains, and playing with
grandchildren.

Chris – Tenor
An engineer, working in the field of
Internet and IT, but with an underlying love of singing
… ‘it’s the only instrument you don’t
have to take out of its case’.
With the passage of the years, still has deep obsessions
with trying to get recorded music to sound like what
he hears in real life… and holding a steering
wheel. Sings when not ferrying or otherwise admonishing
his 4 offspring.

Zoe – Soprano
Zoe is our soprano section representative and Social Secretary
for MCC. When she's not singing, she works as a clinical
vascular scientist - just until music starts to pay the bills!
She is also the proud winner of the Maidenhead Megabowl 2003
Karaoke Competition. Her favourite things include singing,
pints of Naughty Apples and Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Graham – Bass
A member of the William Byrd Singers for many years, Graham finds
that his increasing age has helped him to plumb new-found depths
of profundity in the basement (or should that be 'bassment'?) of
the choir. In his day job he is habitually surrounded by test-tubes,
noxious fumes and mountains of paperwork in an attempt to demonstrate
the delights of A-level chemistry to adolescent boys.

Sarah – Soprano
Having been involved with music from an early age, Sarah studied both
the piano and violin and has sung with a number of choirs throughout
the years. She studied maths at university and later qualified as a
chartered accountant, and now works for a property development company
in Manchester. When she's not at rehearsals or singing in concerts she
enjoys going out for
… a drink or two!!

Paul – Baritone
One of the founder members of MCC , Paul has been involved in choral
music for over 30 years. He particularly enjoys early music and
fa-la-la-ing in madrigals as he doesn’t have to cope with words and
music simultaneously! In addition to adding his not inconsiderable
weight to the bass section, Paul enjoys eating (hence the weight problem),
drinking wine (hence the words problem) and being beaten at golf by his
11 year old son!
